V8 Fantasy

Here’s your chance to experience, first hand, a V8 race car - so stop dreaming and get ready to rumble! You’ll be geared up in your own race suit and helmet, strapped in and you’ll be on your way around the race track at speeds of up to 200km/hr. Our NZ V8 Utes are powered by General Motors LS1 (5.7 litre) six speed, fuel injected V8 engines – so hang on!

Venue:

Powerbuilt International Raceway (Ruapuna) Christchurch.

Laps:

Three race speed laps – includes slow down lap at speeds up to 200kp/hr

Guidelines:

You must be 12 years of age or older to participate in this experience. This experience is not recommended for people with neck or spine injuries, heart conditions or who are in the advanced stages of pregnancy.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. You will be one-on-one with your professional driver during your hotlaps. The total number of attendees on any given day may vary.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. We operate in most conditions however in the case of extreme weather we may reschedule your experience for a later date.

Session Length:

This experience is available on selected dates throughout the year. Session times are generally from 9am –5pm. You will be at the racetrack for approximately 30 minutes and will need to be there 20 minutes prior to your scheduled time on the track. Delays may occur.

Extra Info:

You need to sign an indemnity form prior to participating in this racing experience. Please bring your voucher with you on the day.
